Here's What

I've done something that I have only done one other time (pretty sure) and have taken down my previous post. It feels wrong to take it down, but probably not as wrong as it might have felt to leave it up.

The last thing I want is for anyone to come to my blog and ever, ever, ever feel bad or weird. Not even close. You're supposed to come here and help me make fun of myself and other people that are usually strangers and hopefully leave with a smirk on your face.

To help put the smirk back on your face here is a very old picture of me all bundled up for winter and looking forlorn, much as I did this afternoon when I stepped outside to drive to an appointment and realized it was snowing. I wasn't as prepared today because my mommy lives in Florida and isn't around to make sure I get all bundled up. Maybe my being so cute will help us all move forward:

(I think mom put my boots on the wrong feet...)

Oh, and that hair dryer box is for one of those old fashioned kind that has like a shower cap thingy that you put over the rollers on your head and then when you turned it on it poofed up really big and you'd look kind of like a genie or like you had a big, lacy, pink afro.

I'm going to hit the Publish button now...

Aw, I hope you didn't do that because of my comment. I didn't feel weird. I actually felt famous for 5 minutes.

But I'm totally going to stop following you now. ;)

Hey Beckeye - I had been having misgivings about it all day anyway.
But Dang! - I knew it would be weird to take it down, but like I said I was afraid it would be weirder to leave it up.

I just don't want anyone to come to my blog and get the wrong idea about anything.

You're just as cute now as you were then. I kinda want to pinch your cheeks.

(I read it in reader and laughed because I could totally picture you fussing over your log-in.)

We had those same curtains in our house! I am not kidding, we had The. Same. Curtains!

Oh, and I am going to stop following Beckeye. Not on her blog, just at night with my night vision gear...

Gwen - I love ya honey, but I'll need you to stay the hell away from my cheeks.

Skydad - you just made milk come shooting out of my nose and I'm drinking water. We had the same fabric on our sofa - it helped to conceal a great many stains

WTF, Skydad? I just bought a shitload of naughty lingerie.

HAHAHAHA...and in a beautiful Blogospherian coincidence, my word ver is "dograb." So, don't be that way, Skydad. Do grab. Do.

Oh, oh! We had one of those hairdryers too! In fact all the hairdryers I remember from my childhood were giant tanks. I remember once setting one on fire accidentally when some hair got caught. Oops.

I'm going to START following BeckEye, as I want to learn her blow jay technique.

Was that too rude? Oh dear.

Beckeye - I'm always amazed at how fitting some of the word verifications are and currently amazed that you had to type one in because I thought I turned them off.

Veg - Blow jays welcome - please do not delete your comment - I want nothing else to be deleted here today (although technically it's tomorrow)

I've had to take down a few posts before. Mostly because people in my personal life found them and didn't like them...Even though they weren't identifiable in it except to them. Anyway, I don't like to spread badness either, so those posts are saved to drafts and for my eyes only...

Love your pic. So cute.

Maybe Beckeye can host bee-jay classes like in Old School!

*crosses fingers*

That post didn't feel weird to me, so I guess our weird-meters are slightly different. That picture is adorable.

Crap, I missed it so I don't know what was supposed to be too weird. I'm a pretty weird guy and I can sniff crazy a mile away, so I think you should email me the text of your post and then I'LL let you know if you were right to take it down. cp.marytylermoore@yahoo.com

Darn, I missed the post too although I can relate to taking down posts as I'm the queen of posting and then immediately deleting. Now after reading these comments, I feel like zipping over to BeckEye's blog...what's this about blow jays?

Hmmm. I may have to change my blog format. I will henceforth be an instructional BJ vlog known as The Third Eye.

I love that photo! And you made me laugh about the hair dryer. Was that going to be a gift for someone?
