And that's why my daughter doesn't have bangs. I cut her hair, but it's just a bob. If bangs were involved, I believe it would look like the picture. Why are bangs so hard??!
And wicked ankle story. Ack! It makes my bachelorette party/ankle story look like childs play.
Oh God, I'm having flashbacks...at least I wasn't the only one whose mother thought she could give haircuts. I have sworn never to touch my kids' hair. Ever.
My girls are teenagers and I still cut their hair. The only time i paid to have my youngest daughter's hair cut when she was four, she came home and recut it up to the scalp. It just wasn't worth it.

Rolling on the floor, laughing my hair off.
So funny. I think that might have been on of my pictures.
Compelling evidence.
(you were still cute)

The more I stare at that picture, the more I think it looks like a picture I could have taken in my youth. Eek.
LOL - sorry. I'm laughing because my school pictures 1st - 6th grade looks exactly like that. Except I wasn't smiling.
Cute photo! I think I had a dress like the one you've got there!
Still trying to get over the photo my mom took of me when I was about five or six. My pants were a bright sky blue with psychedelic flowers all over.
In a word...wow.
Take comfort in the fact that you weren't black, like me, and had to wear a Jheri Curl..google it, it wasn't pleasant.
Yeah, I'm laughing too, until someone sees a picture of me at that age, at which point the smirk is wiped clean off my face.
rofl!! sorrry sorry *tries to smother the mirth*
I don't know why i'm laughing, My school pics are just as bad, except my hair is curly so my fringe consisted of a series of mad flicks.
What is it with mothers that think giving a child a fringe is a good idea? They should be banned until the child is old enough to decide for themself!

Ha! I can top that with a massive cowlick smack in the middle of my bangs :)
You were cuter, though...
Heidi
So, when did that girl finally make it back from the Land of the Lost?
I know I owned that same dress with the wavy embroidery. Ah...the 70s!
I had bad hair as a kid and I know the pain...I am laughing outside and weeping inside.
that is so super hot. show us more!
So I see that your mom believed in the "Grab me a bowl and those scissors!" look.
How many years of therapy has it taken to move on?
It's not that bad.
I still think you're hot!
Is that you? You were adorable.

Where did you get my childhood photo??? Add a little bucked teeth and that's me! :)
Better than most of the haircuts I had as a lad, which made me look like a prime mange candidate.
